Sharon Margaret Balcerzak (Vayda)

Sharon Margaret Balcerzak (Vayda), 85 years of Temperance, Mi, passed away on November 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Monday November 17, 2025, from 2-8PM. She will lie-instate on Tuesday November 18, 2025, at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph catholic Church, Ida, MI, from 10:30AM until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11AM. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cathoilc Cemetery, Ida, Mi.

Sharon was a homemaker and raised three children before becoming a CNA. She graduated from Bedford High School in 1959 where she met the love of her life John R. Balcerzak and they got married on March 5^th, 1960.

She leaves behind her husband and two daughters, Tammy (Robert) Brown and Angela Cogswell. Three grandchildren Mandi Doane, Austin Carr and Dylan Cogswell. In addition, three great-grandchildren and four sisters Barbara (Ray) Crowe, Bonnie (Dan) Reed, Nancy Zaborowski and Cindy Funsch. Also surviving is her dog Foxy, they will all miss her dearly. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, son Johnny and three brothers, John “Sonny”, Roger, and Tom Vayda.
