Ruth Ettamae Beavers (Turner)

Ruth Ettamae Beavers (Turner), 95 yrs of Erie, MI, died Tuesday January 6, 2026, in Divine of Sylvania, Sylvania, OH. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation has occurred.

Born June 2, 1930, in Ida, MI. Ruth was the daughter of Fred and Lena (Knobb) Turner. She attended Ida Public Schools. She worked for TA Truck Stop in Monroe for over 10 yrs, retiring in 2000, and she previously worked for Big Lots. Ruth loved going to casinos and playing the organ.

Survivors include: her children, Ron (Shellie) Whitaker, Gloria Whitaker; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Viola, Wilma, Mary and Dorothy.
