Noretta Kay Davis

Noretta Kay Davis, 78 years of Petersburg, MI, died on Thursday November 20, 2025, at her residence under the care of Elara Hospice.  Family and friends may visit Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Friday November 28, 2025, from 2pm to 7pm, with the funeral service immediately following at 7pm. 

Born on January 17, 1947, in Toledo, OH, Noretta was the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Redlinger) Norris.  She was a 1965 Monroe High School graduate.  Noretta also graduated from Monroe County Community College through their registered nursing (RN) program.  After graduating, she worked at IHM (Monroe, MI) and Mercy Memorial Hospital (Monroe, MI) for over 20 years as an RN, eventually retiring in 2009.  Noretta married Stan Davis on August 8, 1987, at Zion United Methodist Church.  When she wasn’t working, Noretta enjoyed Soduko, crafting, sewing, gardening, quilting, needle point, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Stan, daughters Carol Campbell and Christine (Brad) Przystas, her sons Miles and Frank (Melissa) Davis, her, her brother Arthur Norris, her sister Beverly (Steve Hugley) Walters, her grandchildren Jacob, Serenity (Lee), Kiah (Kelly), Andrae, Zoey, and Jordan, and great-grandchildren Stormy, Aiden, Journey, and Rhea.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jerry Campbell, her brother Charles Norris, and her sister-in-law Evelyn Norris.
