Michael James Duffey

Michael James Duffey, 86 yrs of Monroe, MI died Friday January 24, 25, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, Oh. Friends may call Thursday January 30, 2025, at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI from 3-7PM. A private service and burial at Roselawn Memorial Park will take place at a later date.

Born July 22, 1938, in Monroe, MI. Michael was the son of Harold and Hilda (Allor) Duffey. He was a 1956 Catholic Central Graduate, Monroe, MI. He married Joy Parker on October 1, 1960, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. Joy died June 3, 2022. Michael worked in maintenance at Consumer Energy, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Union 58, Jackson, MI.  Michael loved antiques, woodworking, reading, camping and re-building tractors.

Survivors include son, Randy (Kristen); brother, Kenneth (Nancy); grandchildren, Angel (Mark), Kyle, Adam (Alex Kenney) and great-grandchildren, Mason and Logan. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and an infant sister.
