Michael David Lickfelt

March 15, 1956 - July 27, 2025

Michael David Lickfelt, 69, of Dundee, Michigan passed away on July 27, 2025, in Ann Arbor, Michigan surrounded by family. Born on March 15, 1956, in Tecumseh, Michigan, to Ellen and Carl Lickfelt.

Mike was known for his infectious laughter and great sense of humor. Often described as the life of the party, whether through a well-timed joke or a spontaneous dance move, he made it his mission to make people smile. His love for music and dancing was matched only by his passion for motorcycles, a good steak and a cold one—activities that brought him immense happiness and allowed him to share unforgettable moments with those around him.

Above all else, Mike cherished time spent with his family and friends. He held deep affection for those close to him and considered many friends as family. His grandchildren were especially dear to him—his four grandchildren brought light into his life and were a constant source of pride and joy.  He was looking forward to his upcoming promotion to Great Papa!

He is survived by his loving mother, Ellen Lickfelt; daughters Rachel Hickman and Amanda (Jay) Tackett; granddaughters Elliana and Grace Acub; grandsons Deaglen and Keagan Hickman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who became like family over the years.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Carl Lickfelt; sister Lorie Seegert; and brothers Duane, Jason, and Scott Lickfelt.

Friends may gather at Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, on Wednesday August 6, 2025, from 4-7PM. There will be a graveside service on Thursday August 7, 2025, at 11 AM at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI, with burial after.

Mike’s legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the memories he created with loved ones, and the unwavering love he gave so freely. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
