John Anthony Pirolli

John Anthony Pirolli, 83, of Petersburg, MI passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born on June 20, 1941, in Toledo, OH. Son of James and Sylvia Pirolli.

He graduated from Summerfield High School in 1960. John Married Kay Jean Hinkleman on April 22, 1961, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Petersburg. John and Kay raised their boys, spoiled their grandchildren, and enjoyed travelling and working together. John and Kay made a successful team for several years selling cookware and won a trip to the Bahamas, among other awards. Later they owned and operated a family-run party store in Petersburg for over 40 years. While John was always quick to give Kay credit for “raising” their sons, he was proud to work hard to support his family.

In addition to his parents, and wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas Pirolli and James (Pat) Pirolli. He is survived by his sons Jeff (Denise) Pirolli and Mark (Cindy) Pirolli, grandchildren Samantha Pirolli, Chase Pirolli, and Patrick Doperalski, sisters-in-law Dawn Pirolli and Diane (Lynn) Crots, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Summerfield Fire Department.
