Joanna Marie Schlageter

Joanna Marie Schlageter, age 59, of Ida Michigan passed away in her home on April 19, 2025.  There will be a memorial gathering at Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Saturday April 26, 2025, from 9AM until the services at 11AM. Pastor Aaron Werner of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, will officiate.

Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Joanna was the daughter to Patricia and James Schlageter. She was also the sister to Jimmy, Julie, Jean, and Jackie Schlageter.

She had three loving children, Jaime Tucker, Zach Zeiler, and Cory Zeiler.

Jodi was an animal lover, and she especially loved beagles. She enjoyed nature and always looked forward to her summertime camping trips to Mohican, Ohio. 

She had a gift for connecting with others. She loved caring for children while working at the Ida Kids Center, and she always looked forward to her children’s athletic events at Ida high school.

Joanna cherished music, especially rock ‘n’ roll, and she was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She will be remembered by many who were touched by her.
