David Brian Tifft

David Brian Tifft, 64 years of La Salle, MI, died on Thursday December 18, 2025, at this residence surrounded by family and friends.  Cremation has occurred.  A private family service will take place at a later date.

Born on January 1, 1961, in Toledo, OH, David was the son of Albert and Wilma (Waddell) Tifft.  He obtained his GED.  For 14 years, David was a custodian for Mugsy’s Sports Grille & Bar (Monroe, MI), retiring in 2024.  He married Vera Ripple on March 24, 2003, in Adrian, MI.  When David wasn’t working, he enjoyed watching sports (specifically NASCAR and football), feeding his chickens, spending quality time with family and friends, and harassing his granddaughter Sierra.

Survivors include his wife Vera, his sons Shawn (Alesha) Currier and Dustin (Krystal) Ripple, his daughters Amanda (DJ) Vore, Brandie (Robbert) Slottke, Sarah Mendoza, and Misty (Joseph) Richards, and a sister Mary Sue Cilley.  David was preceded in death by his parents, his son Christopher Ripple, his sisters Maria Cilley, Carol Thomas, and Robin Smith, his brother Albert Tifft Jr., and his grandson Andrew Nowak.
