Barbara Elizabeth Weber (Fojtik)

Barbara Elizabeth Weber (Fojtik), 85 yrs of Monroe, MI, died Tuesday April 1, 2025, in Ebeid Hospice Residence under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Friends may gather for a memorial service on Saturday April 12, 2025, from 10AM until the memorial service at 11AM. Burial of cremains will occur after at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ida, MI. 

Born November 21, 1939, in Monroe, MI. She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Kominek) Fojtik. She was a Summerfield High School Graduate. Barbara married Leland Weber on May 6, 1961, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI.  Lee died December 13, 2002. Barbara was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI, was a 4-H leader, and was active in the Dundee Diggers Garden Club.  She enjoyed her work as a Teachers Aid for more than 20 years at Dundee Public Schools until retirement. Barbara enjoyed being outdoors, and enjoyed watching sports, including the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers especially.

Survivors include: her sons, Steven (Kate), and Eric; siblings, Rudy Fojtik, Josephine Jones, Kathleen Fojtik Stroud; and grandchild, Matthew Weber. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
