Annel Maria Horn (Guerrein)

Annel Maria Horn (Guerrein), 81 yrs, of Ida, MI, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in her residence under the care of ProMedica Hospice. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born January 6, 1939, in Karlsruhe, Germany. Annel was the daughter of Joseph and Leisel (Feinauer) Guerrein. She was a 1956 Ida High School Graduate. She married John Conrad Horn on June 4, 1960, in West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. She worked and owned Ida Center Market, a librarian’s aid at Ida Public Schools, and was the secretary for West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. She was a member of West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. She loved serving the community, spending time with her family, was a wonderful mother & friend, was a sports fan and supported Ida sports, The Michigan State Spartans, loved to travel with her husband, take small road trips, cook, sew, and all animals.

Survivors include her husband, John; children, John Kent (Leah) Horn, Brenda Sue (Wanda Smith) Horn, Natalie Ann Horn; grandchildren, Mike (Joellen) Horn, Jessica (Jake) Stone, Bailey Berdan, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
