Jean Marie (Pullou) Roose

Jean Marie (Pullou) Roose – 69 years of Ida, MI – died on Wednesday February 21, 2024, at Toledo Hospital (Toledo, OH).  Family and friends may visit Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Thursday February 29, 2024, from 2pm to 8pm.  Jean will lie-in-state at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (Ida, MI) on Friday March 1, 2024, from 10am until the funeral commences at 11am.  Her burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Rath Cemetery (Monroe, MI).  Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate.

Born on January 13, 1955 – in Monroe, MI – Jean was the daughter of Donald and Letha (Miller) Pullou.  She was a 1973 Dundee High School graduate.  Jean married Jeffrey Roose on July 3, 1982, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.  Jeffrey passed away on March 5, 2023.  Jean worked for ProMedica for 43 years as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD), retiring in 2020.  When she wasn’t working, Jean enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, quilting, entertaining and hosting parties, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her mother Letha, her son Thomas Roose, her daughter Elizabeth Roose, her brothers David (Sandy) and Mark (Shara) Pullou, her sisters Grace Anne (Chuck) Rush and Faye (Dave) Lorenzo, several nephews and nieces, and several great nephews and nieces.  Jean was preceded in death by her father Donald and husband Jeffrey.
