Dolores Marie (Jones) Onora

Dolores Marie (Jones) Onora – 93 of Dundee, MI – died on Tuesday February 27, 2024, at Hampton Manor of Dundee (Dundee, MI).  Per her wishes cremation has occurred.  There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Born on January 26, 1931 – in Aliquippa, PA – Dolores was the daughter of Kenneth and Jennie (Thomas) Jones.  She married Louis Onora on June 18, 1955.  Louis passed away on September 12, 2020.  Dolores worked in the tin mill for Jones Laughlin Steel, retiring in 1983.  When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and crocheting making many afghans.

Survivors include her brothers, Richard (Melanie) Jones, Charles (Patricia), a sister Evelyne (Norman) Murchland, and sisters-in-law Eleanor Jones, and Rose Jones and several nephews and nieces.  Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers William and Ronald Jones.
