Clifford George Nault

July 30, 1932 - February 5, 2024

Clifford George Nault, 91 yrs. of Petersburg, MI, died Monday February 5, 2024, in Harborside Senior Living, Luna Pier, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Monday February 12, 2024, from 2-7 PM with Rosary at 6 PM. Clifford will lie in-state on Tuesday February 13, 2024, in St. Gabriel Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI, from 10 AM until the Funeral Services at 11 AM. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ida, MI.


Born July 30, 1932, in Escanaba, MI. Clifford was the son of Isadore and Bertha (Guindon) Nault. He was a 1952 Petersburg High school graduate. He married Donna Layman on June 18, 1955, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, MI. Donna died April 26, 2016. Clifford served with the US Army in the Korean War. He worked for Gordon Manufacturing, REVCO and finally Tecumseh Products for 42 and a half yrs. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was an eucharistic minister, usher, resurrection choir member, and assisted with funeral luncheons and hundreds of fish fry’s. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Petersburg, Knights of Columbus, Ida, and the Dundee Senior Citizen’s. He loved to take long rides with his wife, brother, and sister-in-law on their Goldwing motorcycle.


Clifford treasured his family most of all, especially the babies.  Survivors include: his children, Barry (Cindy), Michael (Kim), Judi Irion, Mary Ball and Linda (William) Mueller; brother, Kenneth (Myrna) Nault; sister-in-law, Helen Nault; grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Jamie, Benjamin, Jared (Colleen), Christina, Daniel (Tasha), Christopher, Matthew (Liane), Elizabeth (Michelle), Meagan and 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way (Elizabeth). He was preceded in death by his infant baby, parents, wife, brother (Floyd), and sister (Lillian Koch).

 

"The family would like to thank the wonderful team that aided their father from Hospice of Lenawee County and Harborside.  They loved dad like he was their own."
