Linda Lou Kurasz (Wines)

Linda Lou Kurasz (Wines), 78 yrs of Jackson, formerly of Petersburg, MI, died Wednesday August 12, 2026, at Chelsea Hospital. She will lie-instate on Thursday August 20, 2026, from 12PM until the service at 2 PM at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI. Pastor Brian Jones from Tecumseh Missionary Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant View cemetery, Petersburg, MI.

Born December 2, 1947, in Petersburg, Mi. Linda was the daughter of Milton and Lillian (Todd) Wines. She was a 1967 Summerfield High school Graduate. She married Richard Kurasz on November 14, 1970. He died January 30, 2022. Linda was a homemaker that loved cooking big meals for holidays, baking, playing BINGO and solitaire on the computer and spending time with kids and grandkids.

Survivors include: sons, Mark (Carol), Paul; sister-in-law, MaryAnn Kurasz and Judy Strick; grandchildren, Jimmy (Courtney), Danielle (Keegan), Kaitlin (Hunter), Arianne, Lilly and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Arnold, Edward, Lloyd and Mable.
