Larry Steven Park

Larry Steven Park, 68, of Monroe, Michigan, formerly of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.

Larry was born January 2, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Charles and Nancy (Kiehl) Park. He graduated from Morrow High School in 1976 and went on to earn his certificate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1980. He built his career in the airline industry, working for Northwest Airlines and later retiring from Delta Air Lines in 2014 after 28 years of service.

A member of the Dundee Senior Citizens, Larry loved classic cars and trout fishing in North Georgia, and was a devoted fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines, the University of Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves.

Larry was previously married to Cathy Cahoon, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his life partner, Patricia Miller; his brother, Zachary (Susan) Park; sister-in-law Connie Cahoon Trammell; close friend Judy Raymo; and his beloved pets, Lexi and Callie. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Cathy.

Friends and family are invited to visit with the family on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m., at Capaul Funeral Home, 8216 Ida West Rd, Ida, MI 48140. Pastor Mark McCaskill of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ida, Michigan, will officiate. Burial will follow at Rath Cemetery in Monroe, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
