Helen Margaret Eipperle

Helen M. Eipperle, 99, of Monroe passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 16, 2026.

Born Helen Margaret Helzer on October 23, 1926, in Maybee, MI to John and Nora (Billmire) Helzer.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Maybee.  She graduated from Dundee High School in 1944. 

Helen married Marion Eipperle on April 10, 1948, in St. Paul’s Lutheran church.  She later became a faithful member of East Ida Immanuel Lutheran church.

Helen spent her early career at Monroe County Treasurer and Consolidated Paper Company.  Once married, she was a lifetime partner in the family farm, Eipperle Trucking, and Green Meadows Golf Course.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Helen is survived by a son, Tom, and two daughters Kay (Dale) Brunt and Debra (Doug) Smith.   Grandchildren Erika (AJ), Jessica (Cody), Nathan (Mai) and Connor and Great-Grandchildren Jaxson, Jaeden, Maxx, Nova and Levi.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two brother’s Truman and Harold Helzer.

Friends may call at Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Tuesday April 21, 2026, from 4-7PM. She will lie-in-state on Wednesday April 22, 2026, from 10AM until the services at 11AM at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Monroe, MI. Pastor Curtis Garland will officiate. Burial will be in East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Ida, MI.
