Dylan James Vance

Dylan James Vance, aged 38, of Dundee, MI passed away suddenly on 06/21/2026 (Father’s Day). Born on 07/14/1987 he was a proud veteran of the United State Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant and serving with distinction in Marine Air Squadron’s VMFA-242 and VMFA-314. He deployed overseas participating in Iraqi Freedom in 2009. Dylan earned the Good Conduct medal, Letter and Certificate of Appreciation, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Dylan is survived by his beloved wife Trudy Vance, beloved children Melanie, Edward, and Johnathan; and his devoted parents James and Carol Vance.

While working as an EMT after his service with the Marines he helped save a man’s life which sent him down the path of becoming a Registered Nurse. Wanting to leverage being a nurse with a desire to assist fellow veterans, he took the position of being an Emergency Room Nurse at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital in Michigan working there the past six years with pride and distinction.

Dylan loved his family, friends, golf, fishing, vacationing with family and playing with his kids.
