Donald Jude Dheel

Donald Jude Dheel, 82 yrs of Blissfield, died Monday September 7, 2026, in his residence under the care of Arbor Hospice. Cremation has occurred.

Born December 4, 1943, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Donald was the son of John and Irene (Burgess) Dheel. Donald graduated from Ironton High School and later attended Henry Ford and Michigan State University. Donald married Brenda Blair on August 3, 1963, in Ashland KY. He was a Steam Engineer for the Ford Motor Company, Ypsilanti for 37 ½ yrs, retiring in 2005. Donald was a founding member of New Life Church, and a member of the UAW 898, Sylvania Senior Softball League and the Toledo Road Runners. He loved running and was a great athlete.

Survivors include: his wife Brenda; sons, Scott (Karen), Donald “Jeff” (Jill); sisters, Mary Bogantz and Cecilia brown; grandchildren, Justin (Tina), Chelsea (Rob), Amanda (Brandon), David (Monica), Kate, Hanna, Nicole; 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles.
