Alexander Michael Dusseau

Alexander Michael Dusseau, 35 years of Temperance, MI, died on Sunday September 27, 2026, at his residence.  Family and friends may visit Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Tuesday October 6, 2026, from 2 pm until the funeral service commences at 7 pm.  Pastor Mike Opfermann will officiate.  Cremation will take place after the funeral.

Born on January 2, 1991, in Monroe, MI, Alexander was the son of Patrick and Catherine “Kitty” (Boerboom) Dusseau.  He graduated from Ida High School in 2010 and was Master ASE Certified in 2026.  For 9 years, Alexander worked as a diesel mechanic for Lake Erie Transit.  When he wasn’t working, Alexander enjoyed building hotrods with his father, collecting guns and hunting, riding his Honda Fury, smoking cigars, and spending quality time with his girlfriend Rachel Parkhurst, his family, and his friends.  Alexander was truly a jack-of-all-trades!

Survivors include his parents Patrick and Catherine “Kitty”, his sister Sarah (Jeremy Johnson) Dusseau and his girlfriend Rachel Parkhurst.  Alexander was preceded in death by his grandfather Ernest Dusseau, his grandmother Patricia Dusseau, his grandfather Thomas Boerboom, his grandmother Marge Turriff, his uncle James “Jim” Dusseau, his aunt Martha “Marty” Dusseau, his cousin Jake Burnard, and his brother-like-friend Rob Doederlein.
