Ronald Kenneth Beck

Ronald Kenneth Beck, 80 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Thursday July 20, 2023, in his residence under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Cremation has occurred and a memorial service will take place at a later date.

Born December 8, 1942, in Monroe, Mi. Ronald was the son of Kenneth and June (Smith) Beck. He was a 1960 Summerfield High School Graduate. He served with the US Navy from July 15, 1960- December 6, 1963. He married Frances Shepard on November 12, 1972, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Riga, MI. he worked as a truck driver for various companies for 35 years, retiring in October 2009. He was a member of Petersburg united Methodist and Teamsters 247, Detroit, MI, Blissfield sportsman’s Club and the NRA.

Survivors include: his wife, Frances; children, Ronald Beck Jr., James (Kathy) Vandenberg, Michael (Jerri) Beck, Mark (Terisa) Vandenberg, Connie (Kenneth) Thurman, Virginia (Aaron) Ashbaucher, Jodi (Candace Braden) Beck; a sister, Karen (Clint) Hyde; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Richard Miller and grandson Taylor Baldwin.
