Richard Blee Johnson

Richard Blee Johnson – 80 years of Temperance, MI – died on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at his residence under the care of Hospice.  Cremation has occurred.  Family and friends can visit Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Monday January 29, 2024, from 5pm until the memorial service commences at 7pm.  Mark Vergiels will lead the memorial celebration. Please dress down and feel free to wear camo per Richard’s request.

Born on November 6, 1943 – in Toledo, OH – Richard was the son of Blee and Doris Johnson.  He married Patricia “Pat” Spotts on April 19, 1975, in Temperance, MI.  For 30 years, Richard worked for Jeep Toledo in the Sanitation Department.  He was a member of UAW and NRA.  When Richard wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting knives, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Patricia, his sons Ryan (Mary) Connor and Ricky Johnson, his daughter Roxanne Flowers, his sisters Leahann (Lenny) Zolciak and Sally McCann, his grandchildren Carly Flowers, Josh Flowers, Ashley Flowers, Craig (Nicole) Connor, and Curt (Kate) Connor, and his great-grandchildren Jase Connor, Brady Connor, and Emma Connor.
