Paul Edward Adlington, 80 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Wednesday September 27, 2023, in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Sunday October 1, 2023, from 2-7PM. There will be a visitation on Monday October 2, 2023, at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, from 10AM until the services at 11AM. Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI.

Born October 31, 1942, in Toledo, OH. Paul was the son of Clarence and Juanita (Sheets) Adlington. He was a 1962 Whitmer High School Graduate. He later earned his Carpentry Apprenticeship from Toledo 1138 Union. He married Sharon Karns on March 14, 1964, in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Paul was a carpenter from 1138 Union, Toledo, OH and later was a building inspector for the City of Ann Arbor, MI. He was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, ride motorcycles and tinker in the yard.

Survivors include: his wife, Sharon; children, Donald (Rochelle Wright) Adlington, Shelley (James) Foster, Diane Crutchfield; siblings, George (Joyce) Adlington, Greg (Dee) Riebe, Janet Lawson, Karen Wertz, Barbara (Nelson) Antisdel, Melanie Riebe, Natalie Riebe; grandchildren, James, Keilah (Corey), Ashley, Alison and Amanda and a beloved dog Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ronald Adlington, Robert Adlington, Jeff Riebe and Sandra Tornai.
