Carl Edward Davis

Carl Edward Davis – 63 years of Monroe, MI – died on Friday December 8, 2023, at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital (Monroe, MI).  Family and friends may gather at Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI) on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 1pm until 3pm.  Cremation has occurred.

Born on April 12, 1960 – in Toledo, OH – Carl was the son of Charles Edward and Wanda Jean (Pierce) Davis.  He was a 1979 Dundee High School graduate.  Carl also attended Monroe County Community College.  After graduating, he pursued a career as a carpenter, working fifteen years for Hidden Trail Apartments.  When Carl wasn’t working, he enjoyed music, art, songwriting, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Survivors include his father Charles, stepfather Ronald Hall, his sons Brandon (Katie Bracey) Davis and Roy Davis, his daughter Sharlene (Lucas Cloum) Davis, his brothers Charles Edward Davis Jr. and Brian (Anna) Hall, his sisters Jeanie Towar, Dawn (Mike) Lieser, Denise Havens, and Donna (Mike) Showlater, his grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Cameron, Aaron, and Gianna, and great-grandchild Kinslee.  Preceded in death by his mother Wanda and brothers Dean and Steve Hall.
