Alice Clara (Malosh) Bruckner

Alice Clara (Malosh) Bruckner, 90 years old, of Petersburg, MI, died Wednesday February 22, 2023, in her home under the care of ProMedica Hospice Monroe. Friends may call at Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, on Thursday March 2, 2023, from 2-8pm. She will lie-in-state at Petersburg United Methodist Church, Petersburg, MI on Friday March 3, 2023, until the services at 11am. Pastor Keith Lenard will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI
Born April 26, 1932, in Metamora OH. Alice was the daughter of Bert and Myrtle (Kottke) Malosh. She was a 1951 Summerfield High School graduate, she married Charles “Chuck” Bruckner on August 16, 1952, in Petersburg United Methodist Church, Petersburg Michigan, where they recently renewed their vows on their 70th Anniversary. She worked at Deerfield Farmers, and Revco as a switchboard operator. Later she was a cashier at the Summerfield elementary cafeteria which her grandchildren loved. She and Chuck walked the Mackinac Bridge on Labor Day 25 times. She enjoyed their golf trips to Fairfield Glades, TN, St. Andrews in Scotland, and any courses in Michigan and golfing with ‘the girls’ at Demi Acres. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include: her husband, Chuck; children, Michael (Sue) Bruckner, Teresa Collins, Sandi (Paul) Bialowicz; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Helen Stinson, James Monaghan, Aaron (Bud) Malosh, Betty Schultz, Mary Brown.
