Robert Eugene Liedel Jr.

Robert Eugene Liedel Jr, 69 yrs, of Monroe, MI, died Thursday December 29, 2022, in Toledo, Hospital, OH. Cremation has occurred and a memorial gathering will take place on Saturday January 7, 2023, from 1PM until the services at 3PM at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI. Pastor Kelly Zawodni from Ida United Methodist Church will officiate.

Born November 5, 1953 in Tecumseh, MI. Robert was the son of Robert and Margie (Vershum) Liedel Sr.. He was a 1971 Milan High School Graduate. He married Darlene Dapprich on May 22, 1976, in Marble Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a Hi Low Driver for the Ford Motor Company for 32 yrs, retiring in 2006. He attended of Ida United Methodist Church, UAW Maumee, Monroe Greater Bowling Association, and Farm Bureau. Robert loved to bowl in 4 leagues, go to the Flat Rock Racetrack on weekends and was a Monroe County 4 H Leader.

Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Darlene; mother-in-law, Arlene Dapprich; sons, Robert (Amy) III and Michael (Jen); sisters, Dawn Zlotek, Kathy Liedel; aunt, Joan Yetter and grandchildren, Madysen, Dylan, Alexandra. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Bill Dapprich and sister, Lynn Liedel.
