Richard Lee Hessler

Richard Lee Hessler, 67 yrs, of Ida, MI, died Sunday November 27, 2022, in Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH.

Cremation has occurred and a memorial gathering will take place on Monday December 5, 2022, at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, from 4-7PM.

Born October 31, 1955, in Detroit, MI, Richard was the son of Robert and Helen (Beranek) Hessler II. He was a 1973 Flat Rock High School Graduate. He worked as a Cold Former Operator for Horizon, in Romulus and Wyandotte. Richard married Linda Topolewski on May 7, 1977, in Flat Rock, MI. He loved history, reading, and playing cards, especially Euchre.

Survivors include: His wife, Linda; children, Kyle (Lori) Hessler, Kelly (Jason) Phillips and step-grandchildren Christian, Spencer, and Jocelyn Phillips, along with grandpups, Bear, Scout and Finn. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Hessler III.
