Kay Joyce Wohlgamuth (Petee)

Kay Joyce Wohlgamuth (Petee), 85 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Tuesday April 5, 2022, in Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH. Friends may gather at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Monday April 11, 2022, from 10AM until the services at 1PM. Pastor Mark Flory of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Petersburg, MI, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI. Born February 6th, 1937, in Adrian, MI, Kay was the daughter of Rolland Sr. and Grace (Kimmer) Petee. She was a 1955 Summerfield High School Graduate. She married Dallas Wohlgamuth on June 11, 1955, in Monroe, MI. Dallas died August 2, 2010. Kay was a landlord with her husband fixing up and renting apartments for 30 yrs in Toledo, OH, retiring in 2009. She previously worked for MB&T, Dundee, MI, for 5 yrs. Kay loved being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and watching the kids participate in sports and activities. She also loved her dogs Amy and Abby. Survivors include: her children, Jeffrey (Jodie) Wohlgamuth, Christina Stahl, Patricia (Jeffrey) Sayre; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wohlgamuth; siblings, Rolland (Darlene) Petee Jr, Dennis Petee; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and companion Frank Breitner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Gregory and son-in-law, Dale Stahl. Memorial contributions can be made to: The Alzheimer’s Association.
