Flossie Mocille Grace

Flossie Mocille Grace – 99 years of Monroe, MI – went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 21st, 2022.  Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home (Ida, MI), Monday, November 28th, 2022, from 10am until the services at 1pm.  Pastor David Grinnell will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery (Petersburg, MI) immediately following the funeral service.

She was born on June 22nd, 1923, to John and Ollie (Cook) Lambert in Boatwright, KY.  When she was 8 years old, the family moved to Rosiclare, IL where she grew up.  She married Paul R. Grace on July 6th, 1946.  They moved to Maybe, MI in 1952.

She is survived by her daughter Paul F. Grace of Petersburg, MI, her son Gary L. (Carolyn) Grace of Lewiston, MI, her very special granddaughter Kelly L. Grace of Petersburg, MI, lots of nieces and nephews, several extended families, all the family of Sharon (Bill) Ortell of Milan, MI, all the family of Sylvia (Joe) Garren of Pickens, SC, and the family of Elaine (Ross) McFadyen of Pace, FL, and Dee Collins of Lewiston, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents, her brothers Charles and Clarence Lambert, her sisters Velma Outland, Bertha Boyd, and Rena Ross, and 6 nephews.

She was a homemaker all her life and a very good pie and cake baker.  She was a member of the Milan Free Methodist Church until 1994 when she became a member of York Baptist Church of Milan, MI.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  Gifts and contributions can be made to the York Baptist Church in Milan, MI.
