Betty Mae Perron

Betty Mae Perron, 95, years old of Petersburg, MI - went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21st 2022. Betty was born on August 3rd, 1926 in Wakefield, MI. She was the daughter of Earl and Astrid (Johnson) Sibley. Betty was a 1944 Wakefield High School Graduate. She married Francis "Bay" Perron on July 3rd, 1946 in Wakefield, MI. Betty was a successful salesperson at JCPenny's and Tiedtke's Department Store. In addition to selling, Betty loved crafting with her hands - hand stitching and sewing Christmas stockings for her family and friends. Her favorite pastimes of all were reading books and spending time with family. She enjoyed many winters in Florida playing cards, bingo and making friends. She was an avid walker doing miles each day. Several dogs were in her life and she loved their companionship. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church of Petersburg and will be interned in the church cemetery with her beloved husband Bay and other family members.

Survivors: children - Jo-Ellyn (Gary) Libstorff, Richard (Cathie) Perron, James (Tina) Perron, Robert (Cheryl) Perron; grandchildren - Gary Jr.(Kim), Teresa, Daniel (Sarah), Scott (Suzanne), Brett (Michelle), Ryon, Kate, Jason (Cristine), Stefanie (James), Erin, Joshua, Sarah (Nick)and Jennifer; great-grandchildren - Ben, Nicole, Cody, Sydney, Natalie, Garrett, Joshua, Laura, Daniel, Wyatt, Sydney, Eli, Zac, Chance, Liv, Ethan, Hunter, Garrett, Ash, Lily, Garrett and Parker; great-great-grandchildren - Porter, Palmer, Stella, Marcus, and Marley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank (Bay), parents Earl and Astrid, daughter Patricia Olson, brother Ray Sibley, sisters Muriel Busch and Janet Moilanen, grandson Mark, and great-grandsons Luke and Jacob.

The family is planning a graveside memorial service to be determined at a future date.
