Lois Helen Liedel (Kopke)

Lois Helen Liedel (Kopke) 83 yrs, of Petersburg, MI, died Saturday July 10, 2021, in her residence under the care of ProMedica Hospice, Monroe, MI. All services are private.

Born May 9, 1938 in Dundee, MI. Lois was the daughter of Henry and Eileen (Jenne) Kopke. She was a 1957 Dundee High School Graduate. She married Willard "Sonny" Liedel Jr. on October 4, 1958 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee, MI. Sonny died November 17, 1981. Lois worked for Quality Technical in Toledo, OH, for several years as an inspector. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Irene's Catholic Church, Dundee, MI, the Ladies Club of the Church, taught catechism and loved crafting, gardening, garage sales and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include: daughters, Tammy (Michael Heller) Lamb, Julie Grodi, Barbara (Christopher) Kelty, Monique Baber; siblings, Sterling (Mary Ann) Kopke, Gary (Barbara) Kopke, Joyce McDonnell; grandchildren, Craig, David, Brittany, Makenzie, Christopher, Lauren, Michael and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Aubree, Madilyn, Marisa, Jackson, Louie, Ellis and Kelty. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Henry Kopke, Glen Lewis and an infant sister, Marilyn Kopke.
