Donald George Hazzard

Donald George Hazzard, 87 yrs, died Thursday, January 21, 2021, in his residence. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all services are private.

Born November 4, 1933, in Dearborn, MI. Donald was the son of Robert and Lucille (Reckinger) Hazzard. He graduated high school and became an engineer in construction management where he worked in various companies retiring in 1997. He served with the US Navy from September 1951- September of 1954. He was married for 42 yrs. Donald was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Sylvania, OH, and was a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu where he trained for 42 yrs, loved to travel and made it to Japan 9 times, and loved life and people.

Survivors include children, Tony, Don, Foster, Theisen, Margaret, Sharon, Janice, Jeanne; 8 grandchildren, and some great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
