Duane Franklin "Pink" Manor

Duane Franklin “Pink” Manor, age 89 of Dundee, Michigan, passed away on Saturday December 31st, 2022, at Hampton Manor in Dundee, Michigan.  Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home on Friday, January 6th, 2023, from 10 am until the funeral service commences at Noon.  Pastor Aaron Werner will officiate.

Born December 4th, 1933, in Ida Township, Michigan, Duane was the son of Rulia and Vera (Holtz) Manor.  He was a 1951 Graduate of the Ida Rural Agricultural School.  After graduating, Duane decided to serve our country by joining the US Navy.  After being honorably discharged from the US Navy, he decided to pursue flying and attended aviation school, graduating in 1971.  Duane married Loris Rauch (Wright) on October 26th, 1979, at St. John Lutheran Church in Dundee, Michigan.  Loris passed away on December 5th, 2022.  Duane worked for Manor Electric as a Master Electrician and then as an electrician at the University of Michigan until he retired in 1996.  When Duane wasn’t working, he enjoyed woodworking, spending time at casinos, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his stepchildren Richard (Carol) Rauch Jr., Roxanne (James) Cangealose, Keith (Colleen) Rauch, his sister Sharon (Bob) Zeiler, his grandchildren Rhonda (Ben) Ratliff, Lucas (Jennette) Rauch, Zachary (Aimee) Cangealose, Miranda (Ryan) Sackman, Derick (Hannah) Rauch, and Branden (Allison) Rauch, and his great-grandchildren Brayden, Lily, Kayden, Malachi, Lydia, Mabel, Sophie, Lucas Jr., Kody, Barrett, Evelyn, Nora, Lucy, Ginny, Wesley, and Roland.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Loris, his son-in-law James Cangealose, his brother Rulia Manor, and his great-grandchild Arthur Rauch.
