Stanley "Butch" Edward Chlebek

Stanley "Butch" Edward Chlebek, 72 yrs, of Petersburg, Mi, died Saturday, March 20, 2021, in his residence. Cremation has occurred. Born August 17, 1948, in Union Town, PA. He was the son of Walter and Julia (Oberly) Chlebek. He was a 1967 Cherry Hill High School Graduate. He married Betty Bunce on August 21, 1971, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Petersburg, MI. He worked for General Motors for 22 yrs retiring in 1993 for medical reasons as a welder. A member of the UAW Post 174. He was also a farmer and cattle breeder with his son founding S/J Cattle out of Petersburg, MI. he loved farming, raising cattle, and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Betty; children, Jeffry Chlebek, Lea Ann (Michael Luty) Chlebek; sister, Barbara Avigne; and grandchildren, Jacob and Ty Luty. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Richard Orsette, and siblings, Walter, Joe, John, Bernard Chlebek, Beatrice Hardt, and Beverly Chlebek.
