Richard Cleo Winkelman, 85 yrs, of LaSalle, MI, died Thursday June 30, 2022, in Medilodge of

Monroe, Monroe, MI. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, on Tuesday July 5,

2022, from 2-8PM. He will lie-in-state on Wednesday July 6, 2022, from 10AM until the

services at 11AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI. Deaconess Denise Benjamin will

officiate. Burial will be in East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Ida, MI.

Born March 23, 1937, in Monroe, MI. Richard was the son of Raymond and Frieda (Eisenmann)

Winkelman. He was a 1956 Ida High School Graduate. He married Anna Mae Folk on October

11, 1958, in Ida, MI. He worked 45 yrs at Blissfield Manufacturing company and was a farmer.

He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Ida, MI, and loved hunting, bowling,

fishing, Detroit Lions, the University of Michigan football team, cars, dogs, gardening and

spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife Anna Mae; children, Randy (Coke) Winkelman, Vicki (Jim)

McKinnon, Tim (Lois) Winkelman, Kelly (Shon) McClanahan, Dawn (Shawn) Ness; brothers,

Robert (Janice) Winkelman, Donald (Diane) Winkelman; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-

grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald and Marvin

Winkelman.
