Barbara Kay Fleig

Barbara Kay Fleig, fifty-four years old, of Petersburg MI, died on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Friends and family may visit Capaul Funeral Home on Monday, December 27th 2021 from 2pm to 8pm. She will lie-in-state at Capaul Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28th 2021 from 10am until the service at 11am. Reverend Emily Frank will officiate. Burial will be at Lulu Cemetery in Ida, MI. Barb would request to dress casual.

Born on April 9th, 1967 in Sylvania, Ohio. Barb was the daughter of Donald and Ruth (Ness) Fleig. She was a 1985 Ida High School Graduate. Barb currently worked for the Ida Farmers Co-op for four years as a clerk. She was a member of the Tom Blanchett Beef Memorial Preview Show. Barb loved watching NASCAR and showing cattle.

Survivors include: sisters - Carol (Larry) Rock and Marlene Fleig; nieces and nephews - Scott Fleig and Stacy (Eric) Jenkins; great nieces and nephews - Shya Fleig, Weston and Reed Jenkins; long time friend - Catherine (David) Ball; and adopted children Barbara babysat - Robert (Cassie) Laux, Katelyn Laux, Kristine (Jacob) Rorke, Bradley Laux, and Bryan (Sierra) Laux.
