
Laura May Good, 80 yrs, of Onsted, MI, passed away Sunday, January 31st at her home while under the care of Hospice of Lenawee, with her family by her side. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Thursday, from 5-9 PM. She will lie in state in the Deerfield Free Methodist Church, Friday, from 10 AM until services at 11 AM. Pastor Robert Deloria will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.
Born April 25, 1929, in Lulu, MI, Laura was the daughter of Elmer and Lois (Faunce) Holtz. She was a line worker for Ford Motor Co, Monroe, for 18 yrs, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Deerfield Free Methodist Church, and the UAW 723, Monroe.
Surviving are: a son, Donald (Kim Mason) Spohr, of Deerfield; two daughters, Mary Shaffer, of Deerfield, Sheila Bork, of Onsted; a brother, Alvin Holtz, of Deerfield, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Howard Holtz, a sister, Mary Holtz, and a son-in-law, John Shaffer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to: Hospice of Lenawee, 415 Mill Road, Adrian, MI 49221.
