Richard Joseph Fruchey 55 years, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Ida,  died Wednesday,  January 4, 2012 in Florida East Hospital, Orlando, Florida. There will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place.

Born May 29, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, Richard was the son of Norman and Carol (Stewart) Fruchey. He married Jane Ann Wilt, August 7, 2011 in Orlando. Richard served in The US Army in the 70's and was a carpenter and worked on various projects at Walt Disney World, Orlando for twelve years. He retired in 2008 for health reasons. Richard loved to be outside as much as possible, doing lawn work and fishing. He  loved working with wood,  carving, riding his bicycle,  traveling and jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving are; his wife,  Jane Ann, mother Carol Fruchey, son Norman, brothers, Ronald (Terry), Leroy (Nadia), sisters, Barbara (Gary) Kopke, Diane Watson, Terrie (Jim) Ferguson, and  Elizabeth (Mathew) Pifer. He is also survived by his special niece Hannah Pifer, who shares the same birthday. "Gemini's rule!". He was preceded in death by his father Norman, and biological father, Richard Takacs.
