Scott W. Davis, 58 years, of Ida, died Sunday, January 22, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Wednesday, January 25, from 2 -9 PM. He will lie in state at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, Thursday, from 10 AM until services at 11 AM. Pastor Bruce Lucas will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Born January 11, 1954, in Toledo, he was the son of Richard and Maryanna (Butler) Davis. A 1972 Ida High School Graduate, he was employed by AMC-Chrysler for 36 years, working as a Test Technician at the Chelsea, MI, Proving Grounds, retiring in 2008. Scott and Joyce Norden were married January 12, 1986, in East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church. A member of East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church and the UAW, Scott did seasonal work for the Ida Co-Op. He loved working in his yard, camping, Detroit sports (Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings), Nascar races, and riding bikes with his son, Chris.

Surviving are: his wife, Joyce; son, Chris; brother, Kyle (Lillian) Davis; and sister, Rebecca Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
