Ross Elliot Strickland, 41 yrs, of Erie, MI, died Wednesday, June 30th. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Tuesday, from 10 AM until 9 PM. Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 1 PM. Rev. James Nevel, of Zion Lutheran Church, Ottawa Lake, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant view Cemetery, Petersburg.

Born January 28, 1969, in Monroe, he was the son of Dallas and Beverly (Toole) Strickland. A 1987 Summerfield High School Graduate, he served with the US Army from November, 1987 until November 1991. Ross was employed by AAA as a wrecker driver. He married Belinda Shular, in July of 2008.

Survivors include: his wife, Belinda; his parents, Dallas and Beverly Strickland; sons, Steven Carroll, Jack Thompson, Randy Carroll; daughters, Jolean Loose, Sarah Carroll; brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Downs, Ericson Strickland; sisters, Heather Knoll and Jordyn Kay Thompson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard.
