Oliver James Reau, 84 yrs of Dundee, MI, died January 15, 2010, in Sebring, FL. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Thursday from 1-9 PM, with a Rosary Service at 5 PM. He will lie in state at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Deerfield, Friday from 10 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Fr. Jack Loughran will officiate. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.

Born February 25, 1925, in Britton, MI, he was the son of A. Roy and Eva (Duvall) Reau. Oliver served in the US Navy from February to August 1945. He married Cecelia Mens April 14, 1945, in Deerfield, and worked at Tecumseh Products for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He also did farming. Oliver was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, the Tecumseh Workers Union, and loved working in the fields and woodworking.

Surviving are: his wife, Cecelia; a son, Michael (Lois), of Toledo, OH; three daughters, Suztte (Robert) Morley, of Monroe, Paulette Meiring, of Carleton, Annette (Howard) Litz, of Grand Rapids, OH; grandchildren, Adam, Stacie, Jeffery, Rachael, Sharh, Ryan, Jacob, and Blake; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Noah, Olivia, Luke, Bradon, Grace, and Ava. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy, two brothers, Wilford and Norman, and two sisters, Eleanor Kruger and Mildred Bachman.
