Marcella Mary (Geiger) Ready passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 4:45 PM at the Lutheran Home, Monroe under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Sunday from 2-8 PM. All other services will be private.

Marcella was born September 27, 1914 in Detroit, Michigan to Tony and Catherine Caja (Czaja). She attended St. Michael's grade school; Graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1933; and the University of Michigan School of Nursing in 1937 as a Registered Nurse. She married James Edward Ready on June 22, 1940. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1977. She has been a resident of the Lutheran Home since December, 2001.

Marcella is survived by four daughters: Helen (Jack) Bozoyan, of Marion, Massachusetts, Judith (Terrence) Horton, of Petersburg, Janice (Rodger) Rollman, of Petersburg, Joanne (Eugene) Kwiatkowski, of Milan. Marcella is survived by eight grandchildren: Joseph Bozoyan, of Belmont, Massachusetts, Lisa (Erik) Bozoyan Sebesta, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Randolph Rollman, of Fairfax, Virginia, Kendra (Scott) Rollman Dafoe, of Petersburg,Victoria (Brad) Horton Stevens, of Lambertville, Thomas (Linda) Horton, of White Lake, Michigan, Bradley Kwiatkowski, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Bethany Kwiatkowski, of Milan. Marcella is survived by eight great-grandchildren: Ellen and Lauren Sebesta, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Brendan, Drew, and Tyler Dafoe, of Petersburg, Noah and Ava Stevens, of Lambertville, Samantha Horton, of White Lake, Michigan. Marcella was preceded in death by three sons: David James, Richard Charles, and Donald Ready.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude and thanks to the wonderful, remarkable staff of the Lutheran Home, Monroe for their kind and consistent care of Marcella. They truly made Maecella's years' fun,safe and comfortable. Marcella enjoyed Chapel services, bingo, bowling, cribbage, the annual Fall County Fair, Christmas parties, and outings to the Mud Hens games. Thank you to her caring Physicians Dr. Kabir and Dr. Rinker, the Hospice RN's Haley and Robyn; Lutheran Home staff, Brenda Lawrence, Millie RN, Lucy RN, the Activity staff, Hair stylist Clara, Nursing staff Denise, Brenda, Pam, Samantha, Nursing Assistants, Lynn, Jennifer, Megan, Stephanie, Nicholas, Matt, Danielle, Sherrie, Nancy, Shannon, Shawna.
