Orin C. Lamkin, 93 yrs, of Dundee, died Sunday, October 3rd, at Herrick Manor, Tecumseh. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Tuesday from 1-7 PM. Services will be at the funeral home Wednesday, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Richard Bruce will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

Born July 16, 1917, in Dundee, Orin was the son of Claud and Irma (Hoopengardner) Lamkin. He married Shirley Viles July 13, 1946, in Tecumseh. A self-employed truck driver, he also was a trainer and driver of harness horses. He loved to fish. Surviving are: his wife, Shirley; daughter, Linda Lamkin (Michael) Ramey; a granddaughter and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Lucille Dickens.
