Wilhelm "Bill" LaBudie, 73 yrs, of Monroe, died Thursday, September 23rd,  at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Sunday, from 3-7 PM. He will lie in state at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance, Monday, from 10 AM until the Mass of Resurrection at 11 AM. Fr. Stephen Rooney will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ida.

Born November 6, 1936, in Detroit, Bill was the son of William and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) LaBudie. He married Rosemary Ann Therese (Coy) Fella, September 26, 1980, in Monroe. She died February 26, 2007. A veteran, Bill served with the US Air Force. He owned and operated the Ida Tavern from 1979 to 2007. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Monroe.

Surviving are: sons, Michael (Georgia) LaBudie, Bill (Angela) LaBudie, Tim LaBudie, Kevin Coy; daughter, Kim (Mark) Huber, brother, Tommy LaBudie; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Doris Hotchkiss.
