Juanita C. Garrett, 79 yrs, of Petersburg, died Sunday, October 3rd, at Toledo Hospital. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Thursday, from 1-8 PM. Services will be at the funeral home Friday at 11 AM. Deacon Jim Hashman of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Juanita was born February 22, 1931, in Shandon, OH, the daughter of John and Loretta Schmitz. She married Thomas Garrett August 4, 1951 in Shandon, OH. Juanita had been employed by Toledo Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Deerfield.

Survivors include: her husband, Thomas; sons, Michael (Shella) Garrett, Daniel (Debbie) Garrett; sisters, Margie (Fred) Shinnger, Rita Langdefer; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph, and a daughter, Darlene Marie Schamp.
