Edna Mary Dusseau, 91 yrs, of Petersburg, died Saturday, January 30th,  at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ypsilanti. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Tuesday from 2-8 PM. Then, according to her wishes, she will be cremated.

 

Born December 12, 1918, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Anthony and Maryanna (Macejauslas) Noreika. She married Richard Dusseau, May 19, 1945, in St. Anthony's Church, Temperance. Edna was a secretary for the Summerfield Schools for 20 yrs, retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Irene's Church, Dundee; the Petersburg VFW, Post 6509, Women's Auxiliary; the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel; and past secretary of the Lenawee County Professional Women. Edna was a good cook, loved golf and bowling, and most importantly, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was especially proud of her sons.

 

Survivors include: her husband of 65 years, Richard; two sons, Cortland (Lynda), of Birmingham, AL, Charles (Silvina), of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Eric, Dominick, Barry, and Steven; great-grandchildren, Cristian, and Coarlina. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, George, and a sister, Frances Kolb.
