Gayle L. Breitner, age 61 of Ida, died Wednesday, July 21st, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Ohio. Friends may call at the  Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Sunday, from 12-9PM. Gayle will be taken Monday morning to St Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, where she will lie in state from 10AM until the Mass of Resurrection at 11AM. Father John LaCasse and Father Robert Bauer of St. Patrick Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation will follow. Burial of cremains will be in the church cemetery at a later date.

Born November 23, 1948, in Monroe Michigan, she was the daughter of Jack F. and Elaine M. (Manore) Parker. She was a 1966 graduate of Ida High School and was an instructional aid for 15 years at Ida Elementary School, retiring July 1, 2001. She married James (Jim) Breitner, September 6, 1968 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ida. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ida. A former member of The Christian Mothers, she loved scrap booking and caring for all children, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband Jim; three sons, Jason (Nancy), Jeffrey (Lori), Matt, three brothers; Jan (Andrea), Patrick (Deb), Michael (Lorrie); one sister Karen (Joe) Seger; six grandchildren, Rachel, Emilee, Levi, Abigayle, Elexys, Seth. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, Julie H. Breitner, and a brother-in-law Mark Breitner.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Breitner may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
