Roberta Wohlgamuth, 87 yrs, of Monroe, formerly of Petersburg, died Wednesday at Brookdale Senior Living. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Friday from 3-8 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM until services at 1 PM. Rev. Wm. Michael Clemmer, of Deerfield United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg.

Mrs. Wohlgamuth was born July 11, 1921, in Deerfield, the daughter of Robert M. and Ella May (Larkin) Redick. She married Harold J. "Gabe" Wohlgamuth September 20, 1941, in Petersburg. He died Jan. 18, 2005. A member of Petersburg United Methodist Church, Roberta worked for a few years as a Bookkeeper for Whitman Ford, of Petersburg, and also for the Breitner-Gerber Food Store.

Survivors include: a son, Robert, (Sandy), of Monroe; seven grandchildren, and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Dr. William Wohlgamuth; and three sisters, Catherine Underhill, Edna Breitner, and Emma Gaertner.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Wohlgamuth may be sent to Mercy memorial Hospice of Monroe, or, Petersburg United Methodist Church.
