Albert John Voss, 87 yrs, of Petersburg, died at Hickory Ridge Care Center, Temperance, Tuesday, June 16th. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Saturday from 7-9 PM, and Sunday from 2-6 PM. Services will be at the funeral home Monday at 1 PM. Diaconal Minister Mr. Tim Freund of West Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Summerfield.

Born March 10, 1922, in Petersburg, Albert was the son of George E. and Pearl Mae (Dieter) Voss. He married Lois Hoffman on September 30, 1944, in Ida. A self employed carpenter for many years, he retired in 1999. Albert was a member of Carpenters Union, Local 248, Toledo, and loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are: his wife, Lois; a son Dallas, of Sylvania, OH; a daughter Marcia, of Toledo; a brother, George (Lois), of Temperance; a sister, Alice Bolster, of Florida; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Arlon; two sisters, Lucille McDonnell and Lula Jenne; and a brother, Fred.

Memorial contributions for Mr. Voss may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Summerfield Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
