Dawn Marie Vanderloop, 50 yrs, of Monroe, died Monday, October 19th,  at Tendercare of Monroe, while under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice of Monroe. There will be no viewing or services. Cremation has occurred. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, is in charge of arrangements.

Born April 19, 1959, in Toledo, Dawn was the daughter of Eldon H. "Shorty" and Geneva (Young) Patton. A 1977 Ida High School Graduate, she was employed by Wendy's as manager, until 2003, when she retired for health reasons.

Surviving are: three sons, Mark, of Newport, Kevin, of Canton, MI, Adam (Alisha) of Monroe; a daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Nadeau, of Monroe; three sisters, Karen Geiger, of LaSalle, Carla (Odis) Tucker, of Lambertville, Judy (Andrew) McCain, of Petersburg; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Vanderloop may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
