Diana Jean Smith, 52 yrs, of Ann Arbor, formerly of Petersburg, died Tuesday night, April 21st at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor. Cremation has occurred. There will be no services.

Diana was born October 3, 1956, in Ann Arbor, to James E. and Caroline M. (Kennon) Gorr. She attended Summerfield High School where she received her GED. Diana married James O. Smith July 27, 1973, in Petersburg, and was a home maker.

Survivors include: her husband, James; her father, James E. Gorr, of Whitmore Lake; a son, Jamy Smith, of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Candace (Mike) Flaherty, of Dexter, MI; a brother, Jason (AmyLynn) Gorr, of Temperance; two sisters, Terese Lynn (Robert) Reed, of Petoskey, Melissa (Amer) Bathish, of Whitmore Lake; and three grandsons, Conor, Kevin, and Ryan. She was preceded in death by two children, Michael and Tana, her mother, and a sister, Constance Gorr.
